Kano, being a bored teenager in a small fishing village in the middle of winter, had found herself with plenty of time to set this up. The old elementary school was now mostly dusted, its equipment shed broken into for the abandoned contents (scooter boards, pylons, wiffle balls, and bean bags were now all set up in the gym). One classroom had the desks piled in various configurations to make a maze. Two others had been transformed into towering blanket forts. There was a small grill standing outside for fish on the foggy, snow-less ground.

Kano stood in front of the door with a grin.

Kano stood at the front, ushering in the visitors. "Welcome to Kano-rin's domain! Or just the old schoolhouse, that works." She pointed up to a makeshift banner with little drawings of Kanna and herself on it. "This is going to be the best sleepover ever if we have anything to say about it."

"Indeed, it will be!" Kanna agreed. "Thank you for all your hard work setting it up."

"No problem!" Kano smiled. "It was a lot of work, but this is going to make up for everything, I promise!"

"I think the blanket forts were particularly well done."

Not that she'd seen many.

And who is this, sitting over the entrance like a paint-splattered gargoyle?

"Only the chosen ones shall get in!"

"Thank you, Kefka-san!" Kanna smiled up at him. "I greatly appreciate your help."

Kefka gives her a thumbs-up, beaming. "Glad to help, mistress! Once everyone's here, I'll put a seal on the door so others will have a hard time sneaking in!"

GYM

An obstacle course? Seriously? Gym equipment was lined up with little wooden scooter boards in front, some of which didn't look like they'd survive the trip. Instructions were hung on a sign: here was a race in which you had to swerve through the lanes set up, avoid the various gym equipment obstacles, and collect five wiffle balls. No cheating.

Of course, she had neglected to mention on the sign what constituted cheating.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. Karen checked over the boards carefully, searching for one that had the best structural strength, mechanical condition, aerodynamics, weight distribution, and other properties to assure her successful completion of the course.

Okay, actually she was trying to pick out the nicest shade of blue.

"I think that one there is nice," Kanna commented, popping up behind her.

BLANKET FORTS

Sleeping bags were to be set up here amid the piles of bedding tented over the furniture. Some were already laid out over the floor. Here they were meant to sleep, but of course, who slept at a sleepover?

[BITCH YOU TOLD HIM TO REST SO HERE HE IS, GOING FOR THE BLANKET FORT!! ...Actually he just loves these things so he's pretty excited about a fort.

He had taken off his light colored jacket and shoes and he was now crawling around in it.]

*suddenly, bopped with pillows!*

[HIT WITH A PILLOW?! Turns around to see Kano...!]

D..don't sneak up on me like that! [and he's grabbed a pillow and smacked her as well!]

[Woops, he bonked heads with someone also crawling around!]

Gaahh... [And then looks up to see Kanna-]

MAZE

Why was this set up? Why not? More entertainment was always a good thing, even if this looked like it had been thrown together by an uncreative class at a cultural festival. Just beware of ABC gum under the desks.

FOOD

There was a table with snacks in the hallway, and a few fish were cooking just outside the door. Kasumi Town never got all that cold, but the partygoers could still go in to eat after obtaining their food.

RANDOM CLASSROOMS

Sometimes, people just needed to get away. Or they wanted to stake their claim on new territory. Or just write "for a good time, call" followed by links to their enemies' IC contact posts on every other chalk board. (Screw it, the fourth wall's too good for this narration.)

A/V ROOM

A TV and VCR had been dragged laboriously from the Kirishima Clinic and was now alternating between gory thrillers and raunchy buddy comedies. If they weren't allowed to watch it, it was playing.

"These earth pornographies are terrible."

Whatever Kefka's watching (which are decidedly not porn but one of the above movies), he's commenting on it and tossing popcorn at the screen.

"...You do realize we're watching The Shining, right?" Kano sweatdropped and munched on her own popcorn.

"I saw the end of the last movie; there was lots of blood and nudity and I'm pretty sure that was a pornography," Kefka says, missing the point.

It's an abandoned small-town elementary school. There's a lot of stuff in here.
